Parents as Mentors: Sharing Wisdom to Shape Young Minds
Our beloved parents serve as essential mentors for our children by providing emotional support, academic guidance, and role modelling positive behaviour. They encourage a growth mindset, help with expertise, and guide the children in setting goals and managing challenges. Parents also foster strong school-community connections, support extracurricular activities, and promote mental health, all of which contribute to a child's overall success and well-being in school. Through year-round mentorship, they empower our children to navigate academics, relationships, and future career paths.
The Blossoms of Wisdom: A Parent’s Prayer
Parents are favoured with valuable blessings of life
To nurture the child to the next stage of life
A domain of love and care on desirous search
A unique dome of wisdom 'Geethaanjali' reach
Knowledge, skill, and talent-filled as its petals
The school shines amidst schools as crystals
This garden looks so beautiful with teachers as its flowers
Those flowers wisely hold the knowledge as its nectar
The children as Honeybees attract to this nectar
With a happy feed of knowledge, comes the feel of flying so high
The guidance from the teachers makes students reach that high
Arts and crafts as ornaments decorate the knowledge for growing
Happy and joyous cultured acts fill the hearts like blooming
Election and campaign as social moves,
Leads a path to leadership
Makes one feel the ownership
Join hands to crave a good friendship
To make it all happen in a big show hall
A bliss thought from one small heart
That Heart is well known by one and all
It's so happy to say it's our – ‘PRINCIPAL’
Multiverse multi-skill multi-thoughts in one compound
Makes the School - Home bonding forever unbound
A precious gift was given with evergreen memories for heart...
Thanks to Geethaanjali for being a Second Home!

Cradle of Life
With overwhelming happiness, it’s just impossible to pen in a few words the immense role played by the school in nursing and bringing up my son. The multi-dimensional exposure and learning which he has experienced, since his kindergarten days in 2004, is the main reason which enabled him to successfully complete his Rotary Youth Exchange Program at the USA. Not only did he complete it, but he came out with flying colours as well as in all disciplines of his one-year schooling at Crestwood High School, Ohio, USA. Well, it’s a kind of surreal experience to describe something which is entwined in our senses. I am not sure whether Geethaanjali is our second home or first home, but for sure, it’s a temple of learning, not only for our children, but for the whole society. The amount of love, discipline and hard work that each member of the Geethaanjali family puts in; to make every student a lovable human being is unmatched and no amount of praise and gratitude will suffice. As a parent, what makes me immensely happy is the way my children enjoy their school life. The school is right at the top in instilling motherly affection, as I have come across lots and lots of Geethaanjalians, who love to always be at Geethaanjali. Another great quality of Geethaanjali is defining the purpose of school education, undeniably creating the awareness of the environment around us and the caring contribution towards the well-being of the society. 'Anti-Corruption’, ‘Road Safety’, 'Clean Erode', "Plastic Eradication' and the recent ‘Desilting of lakes’ are a few instances of social involvement of Geethaanjalians.
Finally, in addition to all the above, as the crown jewel, Geethaanjali always tries to bring out the best of human nature in all its pupils. This according to me is the paramount purpose of education. Kudos to the team Geethaanjali and I wish them to continue their noble work forever!

Sowing Respect, Reaping Honour
Growing and aging are natural processes that every individual experiences. A home where elders are respected is considered more beautiful than heaven. In Indian culture, elders are seen as treasures of wisdom and experience. However, nowadays, they are often forced to face many challenges. With the rise of nuclear families, many elders are neglected and considered burdens. We often fail to understand the importance of elders in our society. They are the ones who preserve culture and traditional values. Elders are like the roots of a tree; they hold the family firmly, providing strength and stability. From their vast life experiences, they can assess situations and offer valuable advice to the younger generation. People say that old age is the recoiling of childhood, and it is true. Though they may appear old on the outside, inside they are often like the little children who once could never grow up. They need attention and care, just like a young child. As a parent, I feel immense gratitude when I see my child learning these values at Geethaanjali. The teachers at my child’s school do an exceptional job in instilling the importance of respecting elders. In every lesson, whether in the classroom or during activities, my child is taught the significance of not just listening to elders but truly valuing their wisdom. It makes me proud to see my child growing up with such respect for the elderly, recognizing them as the pillars of our family and society. This value of honouring elders is not just a lesson learned at school; it’s a lesson that will guide all the children through their life, fostering empathy, kindness, and an understanding of the deeper bonds that hold families and communities together.
Let’s recall the expression of respect and gratitude toward our parents and elders is a great way to brighten our future - 'What we sow today, we harvest tomorrow'.
